Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary kunkuri

The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary is situated in the small town of Kunkuri in the Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh state, in North India. This church in Kunkuri is the second-largest Catholic church in Asia and officially goes by the name "the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary." The construction of this magnificent church is believed to have taken around 15 years, with completion in 1968. It was established in 1962 during the time of the Late Rev. Bishop Stanislas Tigga and was officially inaugurated on October 27, 1979. The Jashpur diocese in this region has the largest population of Catholics in the state of Chhattisgarh.


At Teerathgarh Waterfall, the waterfall splits into many smaller falls, creating a beautiful sight. It's part of the state tourism's eco-tourism project because it's near Kanger National Park. The waterfall is surrounded by a lush green forest, adding to its charm.


Khuriarani ki Gupha holds significant historical importance in Jashpur Nagar. The local inhabitants of this region are known as the Korva Janjati. This site is located 17 kilometers away from Bagicha Village. Accessing the cave is quite challenging due to its rugged terrain, and inside the hill, you'll find the Khuria Rani Temple. The cave's interior is quite dark and adds to the unique experience of visiting this site.
